My name is Ricky Hobbs, skipper of "Lily-May". My wife Sue and I moved our boat "Nanny Plum" overland from the Sharpness canal to the beautiful Mon & Brec in September 2016. We have recently purchased "Lily May" a Wilderness Beaver. We are moored at Goytre Marina.

I'm originally from Cornwall, where I met my lovely Sue. She is a Swansea girl and most of our married life has been  spent in different parts of Wales. We have finally settled in Porthcawl with our Labradors "Harvey and Elsa".

We love the peace, tranquillity and wildlife of Goytre Marina. The marina staff are friendly and helpful and

our fellow boaters have made us most welcome.

The marina facilities are very good and the mooring fees reasonably priced by today's standards.

All boaters are aware that the cost of replacing parts and accessories are like most things nowadays, "very expensive". It is for this reason that I have setup this site.
